Yūsuke Shirato’s ‘Munō wa Iranai’ Ends After Being Told to Stop Causing Chaos

Exciting News for Manga Fans!

The final chapter of the epic manga series, “Munō wa Iranai” to Iwareta kara Zetsuen Shite Yatta: Saikyō no Shitennō ni Sodaterareta Ore wa, Bōkensha to Nari Musō Suru” (I Cut Ties with Them Because They Told Me “We Don’t Need Incompetent People” ~I Was Raised by the Strongest Four Heavenly Kings, and Became an Invincible Adventurer~) has been published! This thrilling series is an adaptation of Shikiso Utsuzawa’s light novel series of the same title.

The story follows Brad, a human boy raised by the Four Heavenly Kings, the strongest in the Demon King’s army. Despite their strict teachings, Brad decides to leave the castle and become an adventurer, determined to prove his strength.

Shikiso Utsuzawa launched the light novel series on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in April 2020 and ended the story in December 2022. The first and third volumes of the light novel series, illustrated by pupps, were published by Kodansha in October 2021 and December 2022, respectively.

The manga adaptation, launched by Yūsuke Shirato on the Magazine Pocket app in July 2022, has reached its final chapter. Kodansha has published the manga’s first compiled book volume in January 2023 and released the manga’s ninth volume digitally on June 7.

In related news, Shirato has also worked on other notable projects, including the spinoff manga of Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tail, Tale of Fairy Tail: Ice Trail.
