Yui Horie and Ayumi Mano star in TV anime “The Story of the Girl Who Couldn’t Become a Magician”

Good news, anime fans! The official website for the television anime adaptation of Yuzuki Akasaka’s novel, MahÅ Tsukai ni Narenakatta Onna no Ko no Hanashi, has just revealed two more talented voice actors joining the cast!
Yui Horie will be lending her voice to Minami Suzuki, the mysterious teacher who looks like a girl, while Ayumi Mano will be playing Maki Kumil, the reliable roommate.

The anime, which stars Hana Hishikawa as Kurumi Mirai and Misuzu Yamada as Yuzu Edel, is set to premiere in October.
J.C. Staff is producing the anime, with chief director Takashi Watanabe, director Masato Matsune, and series scripts by Hiroko Kanasugi. Original character concept designer Lily Hoshino is adapting her designs for animation, with music composed by Yoko Shimomura and arranged by Hayato Matsuo, Dai Haraguchi, and Miku Yoshikawa.
The story follows Kurumi Mirai, a talented freshman in high school, as she navigates her way through Letran Magic and Magecraft School and the mysterious Minami Suzuki, her new homeroom teacher.
