Get Ready to Sing with the Upcoming Manga, “Unjō ni Utaite, Kimi wo Matsu”!

This July, the talented creator of “Tsuma, Shōgakusei ni Naru.”, Yayū Murata, is set to launch a brand new series in the July 12 issue of Weekly Manga Times! “Unjō ni Utaite, Kimi wo Matsu” (Singing Above the Clouds, I Wait for You) is a mysterious story about a masked artist with an incredible voice who suddenly disappears, only to be revealed as a high school girl.

The story is already gaining buzz, especially since it’s set to be adapted into an anime, which will debut in October!

But this isn’t the first time Murata has made waves in the manga world. The creator’s previous work, “Tsuma, Shōgakusei ni Naru.”, was a huge hit, inspiring a spinoff in March, and a live-action series that aired from January to March 2022.

And don’t miss out on the manga’s fascinating history – Murata first published a one-shot version in Weekly Manga Times in April 2018, before serializing it in July that same year. The series ended in December 2022, but the final compiled book volume was published in March 2023.
