The journey of Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun (Mairimashita! Iruma-kun) has been a delightful ride through the underworld! The anime’s first season kicked off in October 2019 on NHK Educational, delivering 23 episodes of heartwarming chaos. Crunchyroll streamed it under its now-familiar title and even treated fans to an English dub.
The fun didn’t stop there—season two arrived in April 2021, bringing even more demonic hijinks. Crunchyroll kept up with simulcasts and added an English dub in June 2021 to keep global fans entertained.
Season three followed suit, premiering in October 2022, with Crunchyroll once again delivering the goods with simultaneous streaming and an English dub.
The story revolves around Iruma, a sweet-natured 14-year-old whose selfish parents sell him to demons. But in a twist of fate, the demon who “buys” him turns out to be a loving grandfather figure who enrolls him in a school for demons. Cue the hilarious and heartwarming adventures!
Osamu Nishi’s manga, the source of all this demonic charm, debuted in Weekly Shōnen Champion in March 2017 and has been enchanting readers ever since.
