Warner Bros. has confirmed that an untitled Monsterverse film will roar into theaters on March 26, 2027! This exciting news follows the success of the previous film, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, which dominated the box office and earned a staggering $567 million worldwide.

Grant Sputore, director of the thought-provoking sci-fi film I Am Mother, is set to helm the new movie, which promises to continue the Monsterverse saga, exploring the epic battles between Godzilla, Kong, and other Titans.

The talented screenwriter David Callaham, known for his work on Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, is crafting the script for this highly anticipated sequel.

However, Adam Wingard, who directed the 2014 Godzilla film, won’t be returning to the franchise due to “timing issues.” Instead, he’s planning to focus on his original project, Onslaught, later this year.
