Voice Actress Noriko Ohara Dies at 88

It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of the legendary voice actress, Noriko Ohara, who left us on July 12, 2023, after a courageous battle with illness. She was 88 years young.

Ohara-san’s family held a private funeral, where friends, family, and fans came together to bid a final farewell to this iconic talent.

Born in Tokyo on October 2, 1935, Ohara-san’s remarkable career spanned over six decades, leaving an indelible mark on the world of anime and beyond. She brought to life some of the most beloved characters in Japanese animation, including Nobita in the Doraemon franchise, Conan in Future Boy Conan, and many more.
