Get Ready for More Unluck! A sequel anime special for Undead Unluck is coming in Winter 2025, and we’ve got the scoop!

Joining the team as a chief animation director is Mika Yamamoto, known for her work on Tiger & Bunny 2. The main cast from the first season is back, and the same talented crew is behind the scenes. Yuki Yase, who directed Enen no Shouboutai, is back at the helm, with Gakuto Haishima handling series composition and Hideyuki Morioka designing characters.

The first season aired between Fall 2023 and Winter 2024, and now we can’t wait to see what’s in store for Fuuko and Undead. With a new hour-long special coming, we’re sure to get more action, comedy, and heart.

Undead Unluck is based on the action comedy manga by Yoshifumi Tozuka, which started as a one-shot in Weekly Shounen Jump in 2019. The manga has since become a fan favorite, and the anime adaptation has brought its unique blend of humor and excitement to fans worldwide.
