Udon Entertainment licenses Mr. Mega Man and Little Mega Man manga titles

Imagine the excitement of San Diego Comic-Con, where the world’s biggest fans of comics and animation gather to get the latest scoop on their favorite franchises. And what a thrill it was for fans of the classic video game series Mega Man to find out that Udon Entertainment had just announced a major licensing deal!

The deal brings together beloved creators Yūshi Kawata and Yukito, along with Hitoshi Ariga and Jeffrey “Chamba” Cruz, to develop new comic book materials for the legendary Blue Bomber. And for fans of the franchise, this announcement is just the beginning!

“UDON is proud to join with Capcom to announce that we have the master comic license for Mega Man! This announcement continues an over 20 year old collaboration between these two companies that add the Blue Bomber himself to an incredible comic roster that includes Street Fighter, Darkstalkers, Final Fight, and Rival Schools Comics.”

And to celebrate this epic partnership, Udon Entertainment has brought us some amazing news: we can expect new comics from the Mega Man franchise, including fan-favorite artists like Hitoshi Ariga and Jeffrey “Chamba” Cruz.

And that’s not all – we’re also getting some exciting updates from the world of Mega Man! The critically-acclaimed Mega Man X DiVE Official Complete Works art book is coming to us in 2025, along with Little Mega Man and the original Mr. Mega Man.
