The 25th chapter of Hidari Yokoyama’s “Tsuruko Returns the Favor” manga has announced that it will be taking a temporary break due to the author’s health condition. The news was shared on Yokoyama’s Twitter account, and Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ service will announce when the manga will return.

Tsuruko Returns the Favor is a unique and intriguing manga that follows the story of Nekokado, a straight-laced high school teacher who discovers a photo of his sister in a maid costume. He sets out to investigate her secret and meets a girl named Tsuruko…?!

The manga was launched on Shonen Jump+ in August 2023 and has already gained a loyal following. The first compiled book volume was published on December 4, and the third volume on July 4.

Yokoyama is also known for his other manga, Moebana, which ended in March 2023. The manga was published in English on the MANGA Plus service.
