Get ready for a wild ride! The official website of the upcoming anime adaptation of Yayu Murata’s manga “Tsuma, Shougakusei ni Naru.” (If my wife became an elementary school student.) has dropped some exciting news!

The anime is set to premiere in October 2024 on Tokyo MX, BS11, and other stations. And who’s joining the fun? Sachiko Kojima (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken) and Mtsuki Iwanaka (Tsuki ga Kirei) will be playing Chika Shiraishi and Renji Aikawa, respectively!

But that’s not all! Pop rock band pachae will be performing the opening theme “Aino Reunion” – get ready to rock out!

And the creative team behind this crazy rom-com? Noriyuki Abe (Bleach) is directing at Studio Signpost, with Sawako Hirabayashi (Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji) handling the script and series composition. Narihito Sekikawa (Halo Legends) is designing the characters, and Hiroko Yamasaki (Boukyaku Battery (TV)) is composing the music.

So, what’s the story about? Murata’s manga follows a romantic comedy drama about a husband who wakes up one day to find his wife has transformed into an elementary school student! The final chapter was released in December 2022, and Houbunsha shipped the 14th and final volume in March 2023.
