Exciting News! The official website for the anime adaptation of Yayū Murata‘s heartwarming manga, Tsuma, Shōgakusei ni Naru. (If my wife [became] an elementary school student.), has just revealed a brand new key visual, more cast members, and the artist behind the opening theme song!

The Osaka-based pop band pachae will perform the anime’s opening theme song “Ai no Reunion” (Reunion of Love).

The anime is set to premiere in October on TOKYO MX and BS11 channels. Noriyuki Abe is directing the anime at St.Signpost, while Sawako Hirabayashi is supervising and writing the series scripts.

Murata’s heartwarming manga, which follows Keisuke Niijima, a man who remains brokenhearted 10 years after his wife Takae passed away, has already inspired a live-action series that aired from January to March 2022.
