Summer Pockets TV anime reveals staff, cast, and 2025 debut.
Exciting News! Visual Arts/Key has officially confirmed that their popular visual novel, Summer Pockets, is getting a television anime adaptation, set to debut in 2025! To get you pumped up, the company has also released a teaser promo video, introduced the main cast, and shared the full staff details.
We’ve known that an anime was in the works since December 2021, and now the wait is almost over!
The talented cast includes:
Tomoki Kobayashi, known for directing Akame ga KILL!, sola, and Takunomi., is bringing the anime to life at studio feel. Keiichirō Ōchi will oversee the series scripts, and Mai Otsuka will design the characters. Composers include Shinji Orito, Jun Maeda, Donmaru, Tomohiro Takeshita, Ryō Mizutsuki, and Shūhei Ōhashi

Summer Pockets first launched as a PC game in Japan in June 2018, and since then, it’s expanded to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and mobile devices. The English version is available on Steam.
Set in a rural district of a mysterious island, the story focuses on the nostalgia of a single summer.
Summer Pockets was originally conceptualized by the legendary Jun Maeda, with illustrations and character designs by Na-Ga, Tsubasu Izumi, Yūnon Nagayama, and Fumuyun.
