Sony Music Entertainment Japan Inc. has just announced a brand new joint venture with its subsidiary Aniplex, along with Palworld game developer Pocketpair, called Palworld Entertainment! This new venture is set to take the Palworld game to new heights by expanding its business opportunities, developing the IP’s reach, licensing, and merchandising beyond the game!

And the fun doesn’t stop there! Palworld Entertainment’s very first merchandise will be available at Pocketpair’s booth at the bilibili World 2024 event in Shanghai on Friday, July 12. Mark your calendars!

Pocketpair launched its Palworld multiplayer survival game on January 19, and it quickly reached 25 million users within a month of its release! With this new joint venture, the possibilities for Palworld are endless!

You might have noticed that the designs of many of the game’s “Pal” creatures resemble those of the Pokémon franchise. But don’t worry, The Pokémon Company has issued a statement confirming it’s investigating a possible copyright infringement – and that’s all we’ll say about that for now!
