Second Season of anime ‘Bye Bye, Earth’ Coming 2025
The tenth and final episode of the Bye Bye, Earth anime series announced a second season, set to premiere in 2025, following its broadcast on Saturday.
Yasuto Nishikata (Killing Bites) will be returning to helm the second season at LIDENFILMS. Hiroyuki Yoshino (World Trigger) is handling series composition, while Yuuki Hino (Tokyo Revengers: Seiya Kessen Hen) will design the characters. Kevin Penkin (Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari) will be composing the music.
The anime is based on Tow Ubukata’s fantasy adventure novel, published in two volumes by Kadokawa in December 2000, featuring illustrations by Yoshitaka Amano (Vampire Hunter D). The novel was later republished in four volumes through Kadokawa Bunko between September 2007 and February 2008, with illustrations by Kim Hyung-tae (Blade & Soul).
A manga adaptation by Ryuu Asahi ran in Young King OURs magazine from January 2020 to July 2022. Shonen Gahousha released the fourth and final volume in September 2022.
Synopsis:
In a world where animals have human-like appearances, Belle Lablac is born as the only human being. Due to her lack of physical features that distinguish her as a non-human, she was shunned and lived a solitary life. However, her desire to find her roots and belong drove her to embark on a journey to discover her past.
