Get ready for a blast of action-packed adventure! The October issue of Ichijinsha‘s Comic Zero Sum magazine has just announced that Kazuya Minekura‘s epic manga series Saiyuki Reload Blast will be returning in the next issue, hitting shelves on September 28! And to make it even sweeter, the manga will be gracing the cover of the magazine, complete with two exclusive bromide cards featuring gorgeous artwork.

The manga has been a long-time favorite, and this return is sure to thrill fans of the series. As the final chapter in the main story from Minekura’s beloved Saiyuki and Saiyuki Reload manga series, Saiyuki Reload Blast has been a highly anticipated return. The series first launched in 2009, but its publication slowed down due to Minekura’s health issues. The latest compiled book volume shipped in 2017, and fans have been eagerly waiting for more.

Saiyuki Reload Blast has also received an anime adaptation, which premiered in July 2017 and was streamed by Crunchyroll. The series also received a simuldub courtesy of Funimation.

The Saiyuki manga series has spawned numerous spinoffs, including Saiyuki Gaiden and Saiyuki Ibun, as well as three television anime series, an anime film, three OVA series, and stage musicals.
