Rusty Rabbit Game: Gameplay videos released, English dub voice announced for main character

Meet the masterminds behind the upcoming side-scrolling game, Rusty Rabbit! During their Anime Expo panel, NetEase Games and Nitroplus unveiled a new gameplay trailer that’s sure to get you pumped!
Joining the panel were producer Yuichiro Saito, script writer Gen Urobuchi (Fate/Zero, Puella Magi Madoka Magica), and main character Stamp’s voice actor Takaya Kuroda (Kazuma Kiryu in Yakuza/Like a Dragon). And get this – Yong Yea, the new dubbed voice of Kazuma Kiryu in the Like a Dragon series, will be voicing Stamp in English!
The game promises to be a single-player 2.5D side-scrolling action game featuring robots, with a level-up system and skill points to master. And the best part? Voiceovers in both Japanese and English, supported by multiple languages!
But what’s the story behind this game? Stamp, a middle-aged rabbit with a passion for tinkering, lives on Smokestack Mountain, where he goes on treasure hunts with his allies, the BBs. But there’s more to his story – he’s searching for his missing daughter, and his hobby of junk digging connects him to the D-TAM terminal, leading him to unexpected adventures.
Urobuchi even shared that he’s working on a mock-up of a game in Unity as a possible future plan, inspired by a certain moment in the Stellar Blade game!
Rusty Rabbit is set to launch on September 24 on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. And for PS5 players who pre-order, you’ll get early access to the game on September 21!

Stamp, a rabbit living on the planet humanity abandoned spends his days collecting junk and tinkering with machines. In a stroke of bad luck, Stamp crashes down into the lower levels. There he finds D-TAM, a terminal for storing information. Using the D-TAM scattered throughout, he finds info related to his missing daughter and a hidden truth about the world they live in. Thus his journey begins.
