Rie Takahashi joins anime cast, new visual revealed for Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World Season II
Big news in the world of light novel anime adaptations! Kadokawa has just revealed the brand new cast member and a gorgeous tanabata visual for the second season of “Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World” (Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjō, Arui wa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen). And we have our first look at the exciting new character: Vichyssoise Alek Hydra, an inquisitor who serves as a judge and wielder of gravity powers.

And let’s not forget, the anime is almost here! Scheduled to premiere on Tokyo MX, ABC TV, BS11, AT-X, and d-Anime Store on July 10, the second season is finally landing after a little delay.
Savvy fans will notice the team behind the new season, with direction by Yuki Inaba at Studio Palette and SILVER LINK. Not to be outdone, the fabulous Rie Takahashi (Volgrense di Crenla in Kantai Collection) joins the voice cast as our new inquisitor Vichyssoise Alek Hydra.
Also, get ready to jam along with the opening theme “Senaka Awase” (Back to Back) performed by AliA and the ending theme “Para Bellum” (Prepare for War) by Sizuk.
Familiar voices will also feature in the Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjō, Arui wa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen light novels, published in English by Yen Press. The thrilling tale pits the Empire against the Nebulis magic realm, as young knights and girls with magical powers cross paths with unexpected consequences.
