Quintessential Quintuplets Anime Reveal Staff, Songs and Screenings Details
The wait is almost over for the most adorable anime rom-com to hit the screens – Gotōbun no Hanayome*, the latest anime special of Negi Haruba‘s The Quintessential Quintuplets! And we’ve got some super exciting news for you!
The official website dropped some juicy tidbits on Monday, including the anime’s teaser visual, staff, and opening and ending theme songs! Plus, it’s been announced that the anime will get a limited three-week run in Japanese theaters from September 20, before it’s broadcast on TV. We can barely contain our excitement!
Masato Jinbo, who brought you the Movie and ∬ anime specials, is directing this new installment, while Bibury Animation Studio is handling production duties. The scripts are a collaboration between Haruba and Masato Katsumata.
The anime’s opening and ending theme songs, “Gotōbun no Egao” and “Memories”, are performed by the quintuplets themselves, voiced by the talented Ayana Taketatsu, Ayane Sakura, Inori Minase, Kana Hanazawa, and Miku Itō. You won’t want to miss this!
