Get ready to rock out with Yen Press and Ize Press as we bring you the scoop from Anime Expo 2024!
King Amusement Creative just dropped the first full promo video for the original anime Princession Orchestra, and it’s a must-see! The video premiered during their Anime Expo panel on Friday, and it’s now available to stream on their official YouTube channel.
King Amusement Creative revealed that this anime is doing things differently – instead of inserting pre-recorded songs into battle sequences, the voice cast members will be singing new renditions of songs in each episode’s recording sessions! Talk about a unique twist!
This project is all about bringing music, anime, and toys together for both kids and adults alike. And the best part? It’s set to debut in 2025!
The anime stars a talented cast, but character name romanizations are still under wraps. Stay tuned for more updates!
UNISON, a new content production brand from King Records and ARIA entertainment, is credited with the original work. Akifumi Kaneko (Symphogear franchise’s series composition) is behind the original plan, while Noriyasu Agematsu (Elements Garden) is the executive producer. Shin Ōnuma (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya anime franchise, BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense. both seasons) is directing the anime at SILVER LINK. Manta Aisora (Nyaruko: Crawling with Love! original creator) is writing and overseeing the series scripts. Yukiko Akiyama (Yumeiro Pâtissière, Isuca) is designing the characters for animation based on Mari Shimazaki‘s (Luck & Logic, Bayonetta) original designs. Elements Garden is composing the music.
The story takes place in Alicepia, a mysterious country that’s been around since ancient times. The inhabitants, the Alicepians, are a fun-loving bunch, but things take a turn when mysterious monsters called Jamaock appear, threatening the peace. The story follows the “princesses” who never forget the song in their hearts, even when facing danger.
