Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom Anime Film Clocks in at Over 2 Hours Long
The producers of the anime hit “Overlord” just dropped some big news – the new film, “Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom“, is a whopping 2 hours long! The announcement came during a press conference on Sunday, and trust us, the excitement doesn’t stop there.
As part of the conference, the first 8 minutes of the film were previewed, and to make it even sweeter, fans in the North America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America can watch it through Crunchyroll, which is distributing the film internationally.
The all-star voice cast returns, with Satoshi Hino reprising his role as Ains, Yumi Hara as Albedo, and Masayuki Katō as Demiurge, while four new talents join the lineup.
Directing duties go to Naoyuki Itou, with Yukie Sugawara co-writing the script. Character designer Satoshi Tasaki is back, and Fumiyuki Go handles sound direction, among others. And guess who’s back for the music – Team-MAX’s Shūji Katayama!
