New Series “Koume Fujichika to Launch” Slated for 2024 on Manga UP!
BIG NEWS for fans of Koume Fujichika’s The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses! The 12th and final volume of the manga has dropped a bombshell: Fujichika is launching a brand new series, tentatively titled Daiakutō Shōnen (The Great Villain Boy), on Square Enix’s Manga UP! platform in 2024!
And to celebrate this announcement, Fujichika shared a sketch on X/Twitter on Sunday that’s got everyone excited!

Fujichika’s previous series, The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses, launched in Square Enix‘s Gangan Joker magazine back in November 2018. And guess what? You can already read it in English, thanks to Square Enix Manga & Books and Comikey!
But wait, there’s more! A television anime adaptation of the manga premiered in Japan in July 2023, and Crunchyroll streamed it as it aired. And if that wasn’t enough, an OVA side story dropped in December too!
