New Rurouni Kenshin anime promo video and staff revealed for second season.
Get ready for the epic continuation of the beloved anime series, Rurouni Kenshin Meiji Kenkaku Romantan: Kyoto Dōran (Kyoto Upheaval)! The special event on Sunday dropped the first promotional video, giving fans a sneak peek into the new season. And, boy, are we excited!

The new season is directed by Yuki Komada, with Hideyuki Kurata returning for series scripts and Terumi Nishii designing the characters. Kazuo Watanabe and Yū Takami are also on board to create an unforgettable experience.
The new season will premiere on Fuji TV’s Noitamina programming block in October and will run for a continuous two cours (quarter of a year) for a half-year run. Get ready to dive back into the world of Rurouni Kenshin!
The series stars Sōma Saitō as Kenshin Himura, Rie Takahashi as Kaoru Kamiya, and many more talented voice actors.
The anime re-adapts the main manga series, which has been a fan favorite for decades. The manga has more than 72 million copies in circulation worldwide and has been adapted into various forms of media, including a 95-episode TV anime series, an anime film, three original video anime projects, five live-action films, and a stage musical.
