New comedy anime Unko-sensei debuts on July 26, bringing laughter to viewers of all ages.

CBC TV has announced the thrilling news that the television anime series of shorts for the hilarious manga, Ohayō! Unko-sensei, is set to debut in the channel’s weekday Chant! program on July 26. Get ready to meet the star of the show, Unko-sensei, as he teaches children about kanji in the most unorthodox way possible!

Unko-sensei’s adventures will air every Friday within the Chant! program. With Shōei Ishioka and Ryō Takegoshi credited for their cooperation, Kenjirō Yagi handling the music and sound effects, Toshihiko Tanaka planning the whole production, and Daisuke Izu directing and writing the script, you know this anime is going to be something special.

But what exactly is Ohayō! Unko-sensei? It’s a manga series based on Bunkyōsha’s Unko Kanji Drill educational textbooks! That’s right, this isn’t your average educational program – Unko-sensei’s quirky humor and unorthodox teaching methods are sure to make learning fun!
