New Blue Exorcist anime debuts Rin Okumura character trailer, marking series revival.

Get ready to summon some demonic goodness! Aniplex has dropped a brand new trailer for the highly-anticipated Blue Exorcist: Beyond the Snow Saga (Ao no Exorcist: Yuki no Hate-hen)! And, drumroll please… we’re introducing the charismatic protagonist Rin Okumura!

Rin will be voiced by the talented Nobuhiko Okamoto, while his twin brother Yukio Okumura will be voiced by the charismatic Jun Fukuyama.

The new anime series has director Daisuke Yoshida back at the helm, alongside scriptwriter Toshiya Ono, character designer and chief animation director Yurie Oohigashi, and composers Kohta Yamamoto and Hiroyuki Sawano!)Did we mention the anime is split into two cours (a.k.a. two quarter-year story arcs)? The first cours will drop in October 2024, and the second in January 2025. And, the cherry on top, Crunchyroll will be streaming it as it airs!

Kicking off the adventure will be the opening theme song “Re Rescue” by the talented Reol.

A bit of background: This is the sequel to the Blue Exorcist: Shimane Illuminati Saga anime, which premiered in Japan in January 2023. Crunchyroll will also be streaming an English dub!

One day a fateful argument with Father Fujimoto forces Rin to face a terrible truth—the blood of the demon lord Satan runs in Rin’s veins!
