My Hero Academia is coming to a close, and what better way to bid farewell than by celebrating a whopping 10 years of epic battles, heroic hijinks, and the unstoppable spirit of Izuku Midoriya and his friends? Since its debut in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2014, My Hero Academia has captured hearts and imaginations around the world, spawning a global phenomenon that includes seven seasons of TV anime, feature films, video games, and countless pieces of merchandise. And as we say goodbye to the manga’s final chapter, creator Kohei Horikoshi has one last trick up his sleeve.

Horikoshi has promised an unforgettable sendoff, saying, “Sorry for taking a two-week break! I had some schedules overlap each other like a mille feuille! This series will end in 5 chapters. You might be thinking ‘there’s still 5 chapters to go?!’ or ‘only 5 chapters left?!’ but no matter which one you’re thinking, I will strive to make an amazing five chapters that everyone can enjoy!”
