Pony Canyon just dropped a major bombshell for fans of Sae Okamoto‘s Mecha-Ude project! Get ready for a visual feast and a new cast member reveal!

The visual introduces us to Tsukihito, Yakumo’s older brother, and we’re left wondering who’ll be voicing this new character. The anime promises to reveal the answer as it progresses!

The wait won’t be long, as the anime premieres in October! And don’t worry, Crunchyroll has got you covered with a simulcast under the title Mechanical Arms.

The anime follows the adventures of Hikaru and Alma, an unlikely duo fighting against a sinister group. And get this – the story is written by Okamoto himself, under the direction of Okamoto at TriF Studio!

The project has come a long way, from its Kickstarter campaign to its Japanese Campfire crowdfunding campaign, and now, it’s getting a full-fledged anime series! The world premiere of the first episode was hosted at Anime Expo in July 2023.

Yoshino Koyoka has also adapted the story into a manga, which is available on LINE Manga and ebookjapan services. And don’t forget to check out the music composed by Hiroyuki Sawano, Kohta Yamamoto, and DAIKI from AWSM!
