Meet Mattson Tomlin, the mastermind behind the anime series! In a special video message, he announced that he’s assembling his team to start developing the show this fall. And if that’s not enough, he’s also got some major credits under his belt, including The Batman and Terminator Zero anime.

Keanu Reeves was honored with the Inkpot Award at the Comic-Con International panel for his incredible contributions to the world of comics and popular culture. Talk about a legend!

Did you know that the panel announced Production I.G is producing the anime series, with plans for not one, but TWO seasons?! And don’t forget that Netflix acquired the rights to the original comic book series from BOOM! Studios, describing the story as:

BRZRKR is a brutally epic saga about an immortal warrior’s 80,000 year fight through the ages. The man known only as “B” is half-mortal and half-god, cursed and compelled to violence… even at the sacrifice of his sanity. But wait, there’s more! Netflix is planning to adapt the story into a feature film, followed by an anime spinoff series, with Keanu Reeves reprising his role and voicing his character! This is going to be EPIC!
