Summary
Fang Mo’er was infuriated when she discovered she had transmigrated into a novel that only brought her anger and despair. To make matters worse, she found herself embodying the wretched female supporting character destined for a miserable ending. In the original plot, this character sacrificed her family fortune and career to vie for the affection of the male lead, only to be betrayed on their wedding night when he cheated with the female lead. According to the predestined storyline, Fang Mo’er was supposed to swallow her anger and still choose to marry the unfaithful male lead, enduring further mistreatment and eventually facing ruin due to jealousy.
Determined to break free from this tragic narrative, Fang Mo’er vowed never to tread the same path again. Standing before the Department of Civil Affairs, she abruptly hung up on the scum’s call, which aimed to postpone their wedding. Coincidentally, a dashing man in a suit approached her and proposed an unexpected solution. He said, “Miss, since your groom is absent and my bride has run away, why don’t we get married instead?”
Initially dismissing him as irrelevant to the plot, Fang Mo’er couldn’t recall encountering such a stale storyline in the novel. The man introduced himself as Shi Mo, the elusive CEO of the world’s largest entertainment company who appeared only once in the entire narrative. An idea sparked in Fang Mo’er’s mind—what better way to exact vengeance on the despicable couple than to marry Shi Mo, causing them disgust and astonishment?
Seizing the opportunity fueled by her lingering anger and desire for retribution, Fang Mo’er impulsively accepted his proposal. However, in her pursuit of changing the character’s fate, she had momentarily forgotten that she had become Fang Mo’er herself. Little did she realize that in that very moment, she had chosen the man who would accompany her for the rest of her life—a man who may offer her more than just a means for revenge.
