Manga UP! Launches Otaku Love Connection in English
A New Otaku Rom-Com Added to the Mix: “Otaku mo Koi mo Rensa Suru” Now in English!
We’re thrilled to announce that Square Enix’s Manga UP! Global has just dropped the English version of Chiyu Amairo’s hilarious manga, “Otaku mo Koi mo Rensa Suru” (also known as “The Otaku Love Connection“, for all you non-Japanese readers out there).
“The girl sitting next to me, Kakoi Yuzuru, has the cutest face. Alas, she also has an absolute stunner of a boyfriend, Kawai Chihiro. And me? Well, I’m just their biggest shipper, Otonari Wataru, living out a happy-go-lucky high school life!”
This addictive school-life romcom follows Wataru, a die-hard otaku, as he ships his friends’ on-again, off-again relationship – all while trying to navigate his own love life. And, spoiler alert, Wataru’s got those killer good looks for no good reason, making it an even more entertaining ride!
Update: The manga’s second compiled book volume was shipped on November 21, and we can’t get enough of it!
