Manga ‘Koisuru Asteroid’ Concludes Serialization: A Romantic Journey Comes to an End

The wait is over! Quro’s adorable manga, Koisuru Asteroid, has finally reached its star-studded conclusion in the August 2024 issue of Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine.

This heartwarming comedy slice-of-life tale has been a treat for readers since January 2017, and we’re excited to see the final volume hit shelves on August 27th! Volume 5 was released in January 2023, and we can’t wait to get our hands on the last installment.

But that’s not all! The anime adaptation, produced by Doga Kobo, brought the story to life in a 12-episode series that aired in Winter 2020. And if you missed it, don’t worry – Crunchyroll simulcast the anime worldwide with subtitles, while Funimation streamed it with an English dub for all our international friends.

Synopsis:

In a chance encounter that would change her life forever, Mira Kinohata met Ao Manaka, a stargazing dreamer who showed her the wonders of astronomy. And when they parted ways, Mira made a promise to herself: one day, she would find a new asteroid and name it after Ao.

Years later, Mira’s passion for astronomy still shines bright. Now in high school at Hoshizaki Academy, she tries to join the Astronomy Club. But when she discovers it’s been merged with the Geology Club, she’s thrilled to find a surprise reunion with Ao!
