Get ready to make a promise with the magical world! The official website for the anime adaptation of the addictive smartphone game Mahō Tsukai no Yakusoku – Promise of Wizard has finally unveiled, along with a tantalizing teaser promotional video and visual!

Mark your calendars for January 2025, when the anime series will finally premiere! Naoyuki Tatsuwa, the genius behind Gourmet Girl Graffiti, is directing the series at LIDEN FILMS, while Nanami Higuchi, known for her work on BEASTARS, is penning the script. And the list of talented individuals goes on!

The game, which debuted in November 2019, is set in a world where wizards and regular people coexist. As a “sage,” you’ll develop wizards to counter a catastrophic disaster that strikes the world every year, and forge deep bonds with them.

But that’s not all! The game is also inspiring a manga adaptation by Shibatarō Nakamura, which launched in June. And get this – the company coly, Inc. is behind the free-to-play game with in-app purchases, which is written by Bunta Tsushimi (IDOLiSH7) and features original character designs by Dangmill (Cross-Dressing Villainess Cecilia Sylvie).
