Get ready to fall in love with the most unlikely couple! Class no Daikirai na Joshi to Kekkon suru Koto ni Natta. (I’m Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class) is coming to the small screen, and we’ve got the scoop!

Hinaki Yano, known for her roles in Wonder Egg Priority and Love Live! Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Doukoukai, will be voicing the lead female character Akane Sakuramori.

The romantic comedy novel, written by Seiju Amano in collaboration with the MF Bunko J editorial department, began its serialization on the Kakuyomu website in December 2020. The series has since been published under Kadokawa’s MF Bunko J imprint, featuring illustrations by Nanami Narumi. The eighth volume was released in November 2023.

A manga adaptation by Mosskonbu has also been serialized in Shounen Ace Plus since May 2021, with the fifth volume released on February 26.

So, what’s the story about? Well, Saito Houjou, a high school student, finds himself married to his worst enemy at school, Sakuramori Akane. Their newlywed life is a hot mess, with constant arguing and misunderstandings. But as they navigate their daily lives together, they start to see each other in a different light, and their bond grows stronger.
