Live-Action One Piece series casts Katey Sagal and Mark Harelik in season 2
Get Ready for More Action-Packed Adventure! The Second Season of One Piece is Coming!
The official Twitter account for the live-action season of Eiichiro Oda’s beloved manga, One Piece, just dropped some major news! Katey Sagal (Futurama, Married… With Children, Sons of Anarchy) will be playing Dr. Kureha, and Mark Harelik (Preacher) will be bringing Dr. Hiriluk to life!

But that’s not all! Series creator Oda revealed that the second season will cover the story up to the Drum Island arc, which includes some of the most epic adventures in the series. You can expect Loguetown, Reverse Mountain and Twin Cape, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island to be part of the action-packed ride!
And if that’s not enough, new cast members will be announced from Wednesday-Friday, giving us a glimpse into the characters of Vivi, Miss All Sunday (Nico Robin), and the lovable reindeer human Chopper!
The first season of One Piece debuted exclusively on Netflix in August 2023, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for season 2!

The second season will bring on board Joe Tracz (Percy Jackson and the Olympians) as a writer, executive producer, and co-showrunner, joining Matt Owens (season 1 writer, executive producer, and co-showrunner) and Steve Maeda (season 1 co-showrunner) to bring the action to life.
And get this – Deadline reports that the second season is expected to drop in 2025! Mark your calendars, One Piece fans!
Tomorrow Studios, a partnership between producer Marty Adelstein (Prison Break, Teen Wolf) and ITV Studios, produced the first live-action season, with Becky Clements serving as an executive producer alongside Maeda.
