Lance Reddick’s DC role revealed by producer in exclusive posthumous tease.

Say goodbye to our beloved Lance Reddick! The talented actor left us last year, but before he left, he brought life to the role of Lex Luthor in the exciting Harley Quinn spinoff! Can you believe it?!

Get ready for some serious nostalgia vibes! Lance Reddick may have departed this world, but his legacy lives on through his unfinished projects. One such project is the upcoming animated series Kite Man: Hell Yeah! (yes, it’s a real title!), where he lent his iconic voice to none other than Lex Luthor. Remember Giancarlo Esposito from Harley Quinn? Well, Reddick took the baton from him, infusing Lex with a unique energy of his own. This is what we call pure magic, folks!

Before his untimely passing, Reddick had nearly finished recording for the season, which makes this appearance a posthumous role that’ll warm your heart! Executive producer Dean Lorey shared with ComicBook about working with the late actor and hinted at what we can expect from his character. It’s no surprise that audiences are eager to see Reddick’s work, as they’ve already binged his recent projects, like Percy Jackson and the Olympians and Netflix’s Shirley.

As Dean Lorey put it, “He was wonderful. We all loved him…his take on Lex. Giancarlo [Esposito] was terrific, but what Lance brought in was more gravity, maybe a little bit more depth. We just warmed to his take.” It’s undeniable that Reddick left an indelible mark on the show.

Don’t miss Kite Man: Hell Yeah!, set to premiere on Max on Thursday, July 18th! Join the adventure alongside Matt Oberg as Kite Man, Stephanie Hsu as Golden Glider, and a star-studded cast. We can’t wait to see what’s in store!
