Kunihiko Ikuhara, the mastermind behind the iconic anime series, has announced that he will be writing and directing a Rodoku-geki (Reading Theater) play titled “Ikuni Produce Reading in the Dark Shunkin no Sasuke”! This exciting project will feature stunning illustrations by Classmates artist Asumiko Nakamura.
The play is based on the classic short story “Shunkinshō” by Junichirō Tanizaki, which tells the poignant love story of Harukoto, a blind shamisen player, and Sasuke, a devoted servant. Get ready for a new and innovative arrangement that will leave you mesmerized!
