Kimi ga Nozomu Eien: Enhanced Edition arrives on Steam October 17, a romantic visual novel.
Game developer aNCHOR has announced that the “Enhanced Edition” of Kimi ga Nozomu Eien will be launching on PC via Steam on October 17 (October 18 in Japan)! And to celebrate, they’ve launched a Steam page for the main game, with a DLC page to follow soon!
What’s new in this Enhanced Edition? Expect a fresh new user interface and all the extra content from the campaign stretch goals!
aNCHOR first launched a crowdfunding campaign for a “redevelopment project” for Kimi ga Nozomu Eien last year, and it smashed its 30,000,000 yen goal in just a month! The campaign ended with a final total of 57,892,199 yen (around $400,000), and it reached all four of its stretch goals.
So, what can you expect from the release? The main game, the fan disc, the “Kanashimi wa Kaze no Yō ni” story, the “Mabunozo” extra scenario, Steam keys for Muv-Luv and Muv-Luv Alternative, and a digital pamphlet outlining the characters and setting of Muv-Luv’s “Operation Zero” spinoff!
Age first launched the adult visual novel Kimi ga Nozomu Eien in 2001, and it’s been a beloved franchise ever since. The game even inspired a television anime in 2003, as well as several spin-off OVAs and net anime!
