The October issue of Kadokawa’s Shōnen Ace magazine has finally published the last chapter of Natsume Akatsuki, Mo-suke Mattaku, and Yumeuta’s Kemonomichi manga! The manga’s 14th and final compiled book volume will hit shelves on October 25th. Get ready to say goodbye to this wild ride!
Kemonomichi follows the adventures of Genzō Shibata, a masked wrestler with a heart of gold and a love for all creatures great and small. When he’s summoned to another world, he finds himself face to face with a princess who asks for his help in slaying magical beasts. But Genzō has other plans – he’s more interested in becoming a pet shop owner in this new world!
The Kemonomichi team, which includes Akatsuki (known for his work on Konosuba) and the artist duo Mo-suke Mattaku and Yumeuta (known for their work on Baka & Test – Summon the Beasts), launched the manga in Shōnen Ace in November 2016. And now, after five long years, the final chapter has arrived!
But don’t worry, Kemonomichi fans – the manga’s inspiration, the anime series Kemono Michi: Rise Up (also known as Hataage! Kemonomichi), is still out there, waiting to be streamed or watched on Blu-ray! Funimation brought the anime to fans worldwide, and it’s still available for your viewing pleasure.
