Kazuki Kaburagi’s Magic Maker Light Novels Adapted into TV Anime in 2025

Get ready to embark on a magical adventure! Megumi Han and Ai Kakuma are starring in the anime adaptation of Kazuki Kaburagi’s light novel series, Magic Maker ~Isekai Mahō no Tsukurikata~!

Kadokawa announced the TV anime adaptation, revealing a teaser visual, teaser trailer, main cast, staff, and 2025 premiere! We’re already hooked!

The anime stars Megumi Han as Shion (right in visual above) and Ai Kakuma as Marie (left in visual above).

Kazuomi Koga is directing the anime at Studio DEEN, with Keiichirō Ōchi handling series scripts, Takayuki Noguchi designing characters, and Kei Yoshikawa and Kana Hashiguchi composing the music!

The story follows a man who dies in the modern world with a longing for magic and is reincarnated as a baby named Shion in another world. He hopes to find magic in this new world and sets out to become a pioneer of magic.

Kaburagi launched the light novel series on Shōsetsuka ni Narō in 2017, and Kadokawa published the first volume with illustration by Ten in May 2020. Tomozo Nishioka launched the manga adaptation on the Manga Doa app in June 2021!
