Buckle up, folks! They’re releasing a compilation movie, aptly titled Hoshina no Kyuujitsu, a special episode that’s set to leave you breathless! The movie, along with the second season, is set to hit Japanese theaters in 2025. Yes, you read that right… 2025!
For those who might be late to the party, Kaijuu 8-gou is an action-packed sci-fi masterpiece based on Naoya Matsumoto’s manga, brought to life by Production I.G. The show premiered in Spring 2024 and Crunchyroll simulcast it globally with subtitles and dubbed versions! The second season was announced last June, and we can’t wait!
Did you know that the manga has been serializing in Shounen Jump+ since July 2020? It’s already conquered the hearts of millions, selling a whopping 15 million copies of its volumes! VIZ Media snapped up the English rights in February 2021, and Shueisha’s Manga Plus platform is simul-publishing the series in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Thai, Indonesian, Russian, and French.
