Kagiri Araido’s Undertaker Manga Concludes
Get ready to bid farewell to the Undertaker manga, as the final chapter was published in the August issue of Kodansha‘s Monthly Shonen Magazine! The third and final compiled book volume will hit shelves on August 16.
The Undertaker manga follows the adventures of Hiromu Sugisawa, a seemingly childlike agent, and Rōta Daidōji, his elder counterpart, as they work for the Undertaker agency, tasked with putting to rest the Sotai, undead creatures that seek to prolong their lives by attacking the living.
Kagiri Araido, the talented mangaka behind the series, launched the Undertaker manga in Monthly Shonen Magazine back in August 2023. The second volume was published on April 17.
But that’s not all – Araido is also the mastermind behind the popular Jiisan Baasan Wakagaeru (Grandpa and Grandma Turn Young Again) manga, which has garnered over 100 million views on pixiv! The series was ranked #6 in the Web Manga category of the sixth “Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taishō” in 2020 and has one million copies in circulation (including digital purchases). A television anime adaptation premiered on April 7 and is available to stream on Crunchyroll.
