Jujutsu Kaisen manga concludes in just five final chapters.

Get ready to bid farewell to one of the most epic manga series out there! Jujutsu Kaisen creator Gege Akutami has just announced that the manga will be wrapping up in just five chapters in the 44th issue of Weekly Shounen Jump magazine on September 30th!

Akutami’s journey with Jujutsu Kaisen began back in March 2018, and since then, the series has become a global phenomenon, with a whopping 90 million copies of its volumes in circulation! That’s not all – the series has also spawned a prequel manga, which was later adapted into a movie and two TV anime seasons.

So, what’s next for this supernatural action-packed series? Well, the good news is that VIZ Media will continue to simulpub the manga digitally, and Shueisha’s Manga Plus platform will also keep publishing the series in English. And if you’re craving more Jujutsu Kaisen, you can also look forward to a sequel anime season adapting the Shimetsu Kaiyuu arc, which was announced back in December 2023!

But for now, let’s take a trip down memory lane and revisit the series’ premise:

Hidden in plain sight, an age-old conflict rages on. Supernatural monsters known as Curses terrorize humanity from the shadows, and powerful humans known as Jujutsu sorcerers use mystical arts to exterminate them. When high school student Yuuji Itadori finds a dried-up finger of the legendary Curse Sukuna Ryoumen, he suddenly finds himself joining this bloody conflict.

As Yuuji navigates this treacherous world, he must confront his own dark past and the evil forces that seek to destroy him. But with the help of his new friends and allies, he’ll stop at nothing to protect the world from the Curses and make his own mark on the Jujutsu world.
