A thrilling announcement was made on Sunday, unveiling the anime film project Inazuma Eleven the Movie 2025. Slated to hit Japanese theaters on December 27, this cinematic experience consists of two films: Eiga Inazuma Eleven Sōshūhen: Densetsu no Kickoff, a compilation of the popular series, and Gekijōban Inazuma Eleven: Aratanaru Eiyū-tachi no Joshō, a prologue to the latest game installment.

The first part of the film focuses on the matches and highlights the Inazuma Eleven: Football Frontier-Hen series, while the second half serves as a prologue to the latest game, Victory Road. Notably, MAPPA is producing both the game’s animated footage and the anime prologue, with the original cast members reprising their roles.

In the game, you’ll meet Unmei Sasanami, a young boy who yearns for a world without soccer, and follow his journey as he meets Haru Endo, a soccer expert. With over 4,500 characters from the series, get ready to experience an epic storyline.

A familiar face returns to the franchise – Akihiro Hino, the chief director and scriptwriter, will be involved in the project, along with the original character designs by Takuzō Nagano. Aeon Entertainment is distributing the film.

The Victory Road game is set to launch worldwide in 2024 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, iOS, Android, and PC via Stream.
