Hatsune Miku fans, rejoice! The beloved virtual idol is back with a new adventure, and this time, she’s tackling a different kind of challenge. Instead of her usual cheerful self, we’re seeing a more downbeat side of Miku, and it’s up to a young fan to help her find her love for music again.

The movie is being produced by P.A. Works and is set to hit theaters on January 17, 2025. As for international releases, no word has been given yet, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed that it’ll make its way to screens outside of Japan by the end of 2025.
