Girls Band Cry’s Mirei and Natsu go on hiatus due to health reasons.
Breaking News: Two GIRLS’ BAND CRY Cast Members Go on Hiatus, But the Show Must Go On!
The official website for Toei Animation’s original anime GIRLS’ BAND CRY has just dropped some unexpected news: cast members Mirei and Natsu are taking a temporary hiatus due to health reasons. But don’t worry, the remaining three main cast members – Rina, Yuri, and Syuri – are here to save the day!
It seems that Mirei and Natsu, who perform as Subaru Awa and Tomo Ebizuka, respectively, have been struggling with their health and haven’t been able to make appearances and performances. After consulting with doctors, they’ve decided to take a break to focus on their rehabilitation and recuperation. We’re sending all our best wishes to these talented performers!
But don’t worry, the show must go on! GIRLS’ BAND CRY aired for 13 episodes this spring, and the cast members headlined a concert as their Togenashi Togeari band in March. And the good news is that Togenashi Togeari has scheduled three more concerts between September and December, as well as a performance at the “ATF25th presents Baycamp 2024” festival in September. And if that’s not enough, they’ll also be appearing in a “Battle of the Bands” with the BanG Dream! franchise’s MyGO!!!!! band in January!
