Gentle Criminal Returns in My Hero Academia Season 7 for an Ultimate Save

My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 16: Gentle Criminal’s Shocking Save

My Hero Academia Season 7 is in the midst of the final war between heroes and villains, and the latest episode has brought back Gentle Criminal for a major save. The Culture Festival arc is often a divisive part of My Hero Academia’s history among fans, introducing greater themes for the future but failing to deliver a satisfying final confrontation between Izuku Midoriya and the key villains, Gentle Criminal and La Brava.

However, as fans have seen through the massive war with the villains, My Hero Academia has seen significant changes to Japan and the status quo, with the heroes operating outside their normal means and forming unexpected alliances with past foes. This comes to a head in the latest episode, where Gentle and La Brava literally save the flying U.A. Academy battlefield from crashing to the ground.

My Hero Academia: Gentle Saves The Day

My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 16 reveals that one month prior to the start of the final war, Gentle was one of the prisoners freed during the attack on Tartarus and neighboring prisons. However, it’s explained that due to his decision to reform his ways in the fight against Deku, Gentle actually held back all the other prisoners and prevented them from escaping.

It was here that Tsukauchi and the police decided to work with both Gentle and La Brava, and the two played a key role in the plan. When the floating U.A. Academy battlefield is hacked, La Brava manages to regain control and mostly prevents it from falling. However, it’s Gentle who saves the day in a big way by expanding his quirk to the entire falling U.A. Academy battlefield and keeping it afloat before it hits the ground.

Inspired by Deku’s heroism, Gentle finally gets to live out his dream of being a hero who helps others.
