From Salaryman to Big Four: Anime Adaptation of Manga Coming in 2025
Get ready to level up your anime game! A brand new adaptation of the hit manga Headhunted to Another World: From Salaryman to Big Four! is coming your way!
Seven Seas has already brought the manga to English-speaking fans, and here’s the scoop:
Dennosuke Uchimura, a humble Japanese salaryman, meets his untimely demise in a hit-and-run accident in Vietnam. But, as fate would have it, he’s reincarnated and summoned to another world by the Demon King himself! The Demon King offers Uchimura a new job – as one of the Four Heavenly Kings of his army! Can Uchimura rise to the challenge?
The talented team behind this adaptation includes:
Michio Fukuda (Failure Frame) is at the helm, directing at GEEK TOYS and CompTown, with Seung-Deok Kim as assistant director. Hiroko Fukuda (Our Dating Story: The Experienced You and The Inexperienced Me, Taisho Otome Fairy Tale) is penning the series scripts, while Ayumi Nishibata (Migi & Dali, Otherside Picnic) is designing the characters. And, of course, Takafumi Wada (The Seven Deadly Sins, Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign) is composing the music.
And that’s not all! The manga has already launched on Overlap‘s Comic Gardo web manga service in December 2019, with the ninth compiled book volume set to release on July 25.
The manga is an adaptation of Benigashira‘s earlier work, which they drew themselves, and has been running parallel to the new version by Muramitsu.
