The September issue of Shueisha‘s V Jump magazine has finally wrapped up the first part of Yūsaku Shibata‘s highly-anticipated manga, Dragon Quest Dai no Daibōken: Yūsha Avan to Gokuen no Maō! This prequel to the iconic Riku Sanjō and Kōji Inada‘s Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai manga will take a short break before returning in the magazine’s January 2025 issue to start its thrilling second part, “Teacher Arc”, on November 21!
The young Avan, along with the Kingdom of Karl and Princess Flora, fights the demon lord Hadlar and his demon army in a battle that will take your breath away. Will Avan emerge victorious, or will Hadlar’s dark powers prove too much for him?
