Disney+ streams Macross Frontier and Macross Delta anime in the UK
Exciting news for anime fans in the U.K.! The Disney+ platform is now streaming not one, but two beloved Macross series: Macross Frontier and Macross Delta! Both series are available in subtitled versions, so grab your headphones and get ready to soar into the world of Macross!
But don’t get too excited just yet, folks! As of Wednesday, these series are still MIA on Disney+ and Hulu in the United States. Guess you’ll have to rely on your U.K. friends to fill you in on the action!
The official Macross website spilled the beans back in March that the “Star” brand of Disney+ would be streaming a plethora of Macross anime in 2024. And in April 2021, Big West, Studio Nue, and Harmony Gold USA announced a global distribution deal for most Macross TV sequels and films.
So, what’s the scoop on these two series? Macross Frontier aired in 2008, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Macross franchise. And Macross Delta took off in 2016, running for 26 episodes from April to September.
