"Dandadan" Unveils New Cast, Releases Second Teaser

Get Ready for the Latest Update on the Anime Adaptation of Dandadan!Just when you thought the wait couldn’t get any longer, the official website for the television anime adaptation of Yukinobu Tatsu’s Dandadan manga has dropped some exciting new info! Not only have they revealed additional cast members, but also a brand new key visual (check it out below!) and the second promotional video!

Cast:

Seiko Ayase: Nana Mizuki (Black Clover)
Aira Shiratori: Ayane Sakura (Boku no Hero Academia)
Jin Enjouji: Kaito Ishikawa (Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai)

Hip-hop duo Creepy Nuts, known for their work on Mashle: Shinkakusha Kouho Senbatsu Shiken-hen and Yofukashi no Uta, will be performing the opening theme “Otonoke.”

Director Fuuga Yamashiro (Eizouken ni wa Te wo Dasu na! assistant director) and his team at Science SARU are hard at work bringing this anime to life. Hiroshi Seko (Chainsaw Man) is handling series composition and scriptwriting, while Naoyuki Onda (Inuyashiki) is designing the characters. Kensuke Ushio (Devilman Crybaby) is composing the music.

Tatsu began serializing the manga on Shounen Jump+ in April 2021, and since then, the series has taken off! Shueisha has published 14 volumes so far, with the 15th one scheduled to drop on July 4. VIZ Media has also licensed the manga in English and has released seven volumes, with the eighth one coming out on July 16.
