Kadokawa is thrilled to announce that the 2022 anime adaptation of A Couple of Cuckoos will be back for its second season in 2025!

To celebrate this announcement, the original creator of the manga, Miki Yoshikawa, shared a special illustration with fans.

Last year, Kakkō no Iinazuke premiered on TV Asahi’s NUMAnimation block and was also simulcast outside of Japan on Crunchyroll with English dubbing.
Hiroaki Akagi took on the role of chief director, and Yoshiyuki Shirahata directed the series at Shinei Animation and Synergy SP.
The anime adaptation brought to life the adorable manga about Nagi Umino and Erika Amano’s adorable misadventures, written by Miki Yoshikawa!
